Brent Cross

Project Credit: Haptic Architects

Nick Elias worked with Haptic director Scott Grady in designing a gateway building for the new Brent Cross Town Centre as part of a £5 billion development by Argent Related. Amongst the more programme-specific buildings of culture, office & housing, the building was proposed as a centre for tech growth, and as a community powerhouse for the new development.

The plot is positioned centrally on a new public square, reflective of the building’s civic importance to the wider development. On the ground floors there is a flexible market and a lobby for a large tech company acquiring the upper floors, whilst business incubators sit sandwiched between the two.
